Description:

I based the drawing off of the keywords, timid, reserved, and no eye-brows. I also modeled her after 'Potato Head Voldemort' a cartoon character I used to always draw as a kid.

Process/planning:

I first drew out what I wanted to express through the face. Initially, I wanted her in a cradle position to emphasize her timidness, but I wanted to put her in a more normal environment and did not know where it fit. 

I started thinking of Matilda and how she always read books and my experience with observing people who read during lunch, and thought it was the perfect place. My character was inspired by Tim Burton and Roald Dahl's illustrations. Overall I had a lot of fun doing this.
